Overview
Navigate 2026 was Browserbase's first conference: one day in San Francisco on September 10, built for the teams already running agents in production rather than the ones still demoing them. The pitch, in founder Paul Klein IV's words, was that only about a fifth of agents make it to production and nobody has written the playbook for keeping them there, so Browserbase put the people furthest ahead in one room. Five hundred-plus builders showed up, with talks from Vercel's Malte Ubl, Anthropic's Thariq Shihipar, Cognition's Nick Wong, Stripe's John Collison, and teams from Ramp, Lovable, Modal, CrewAI, Fireworks, and Braintrust.
What we did
Two ends of the same event. In June we helped Browserbase announce it, giving a conference that didn't exist yet a look and a reason to register. In September we were in the room with cameras, and cut the day into the recap film that went out four days later: 500 people, one stage, the whole Browserbase team on it. Paul's own review of the day was three words: "navigate was a DREAM."
