Overview
AgentMail launched out of Y Combinator's Summer 2025 batch on August 5, 2025, with a sharp idea and a short runway of attention: email inboxes for AI agents, or as they put it, not AI for your email but email for your AI. A week earlier the team had demoed it live to hundreds of YC founders and investors with Garry Tan in the front row, so the public launch had to land at least as hard as the room did.
What we did
We built the launch story: art and design direction, motion, and the short-form content that ran alongside the announcement. The launch posts from Y Combinator and from founder Adi Singh drew roughly 100,000 views between them in the first days, and the launch film gave a product that lives inside an API something people could actually watch.
